Sonya Manning - Owner/Stylist

Sonya Manning has worked in the hair industry since 2003 and currently serves on the Global Hair Team for Aveda North America. As an Aveda Educator, Sonya teaches the latest cutting and styling techniques to hundreds of hairdressers each year. She has been an active participant at NYC Fashion Week since 2005; assisted on editorial shoots for Stella McCartney, Betsey Johnson and Christian Soriano; and worked in every position in the salon, including Creative Director.

When it comes to her guests, Sonya’s passion is the ability to show people a different side of themselves. Outstanding service, great hair and satisfaction are all what makes Sonya's style special.

Jim Manning - Owner/Operations

Jim Manning is the adoring husband to Owner Sonya Manning.  If you are lucky you may catch a glimpse of the man behind the woman. From the day Jim met Sonya he admired her unique special flare for the world. A veteran entrepreneur, Jim is excited to support Sonya and the Revela community in any capacity. You may see him greeting guests, booking appointments or sweeping up the shop floor. Jim considers himself a man of many talents so Sonya respectfully asks that if he offers to cut your hair you lovingly and firmly say “no.”

KAITLYN EXPLOSION - STYLIST

Gritty. Nurturing. Dazzling. Kaitlyn Explosion (yup, that is her awesome last name) has been a stylist for over a decade. Drawn to Aveda by her passion for Mother Earth, Kaitlyn has a fierce determination to help her guests truly look and feel the way they want to about themselves. Aveda’s botanically-based products allow Kaitlyn to deliver to her guests not just amazing cuts and color, but in a way that is kinder to the planet and to the person lucky enough to be in her chair.
